Gesture Synth Weld is a free, open-source web instrument. Use it, play it, record with it — no account, no payment, no subscription. The only terms are the software license below.
The source code of this site is released under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense and sell copies of the software, provided the copyright notice and permission notice are included. The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.
Recordings you make with the instrument are yours. We claim no rights over them.
This site does not sell anything: no accounts, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no payments of any kind are collected on gesturesynthweld.com. Playing and recording are free and are not gated behind a login or a paywall.
A separate, hosted build with additional features exists at gesturesynthweld.app. It is a different site with its own terms; nothing on this page governs it, and using it is optional.
Camera frames, hand landmarks and audio are processed locally in your browser and are never uploaded to us — the same as described in the Privacy Policy. Recordings stay on your device (downloads and the in-browser My recordings gallery); we never receive them. Analytics cookies are described in the Privacy Policy.
Play anything you like. Don't use the site to break the law, to attack or overload the service, or to misrepresent it as your own official product. The name and branding are not part of the MIT grant.
